Robert E. Dougherty Jr., 59 of Northampton, died March 6, 2016, at his home.

Born Aug. 29, 1956 in Allentown, he was the son of Marlene F. “Dolly” Dougherty and the late Robert E. Dougherty Sr.

He liked to go fishing and working with tools.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a son, Robert E. III and Carrie Williams of Lehighton; grandson Garrett E. Dougherty of Lehighton; sister-in-law Lisa Dougherty of Northampton, niece Cheyenne Dougherty of Northampton; several aunts and an uncle.

He was predeceased by a brother, David J. Dougherty.
