Mildred I. Eichner, 95, of Macungie, died March 11, 2016, in her home.

She was the wife of the late Charles Eichner Jr.

Born Nov. 4, 1920, in Slatington, she was the daughter of the late Amandus and Esther (Kressley) Schleicher.

Her survivors include a son Ronald C. Eichner Sr. and his wife, Nadine, of Macungie; daughters Lois J. Weber and her husband, Russell, of Northampton, Janet E. Cherrington of Florida; brother Earl Schleicher of Orefield; sisters Evelyn Rushatz of Allentown, Elaine Long Northampton, Jean Stevens of Allentown, Carol Bright of Northampton; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; four granddogs; many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by siblings Clifford, Fred, Marvin, and Clayton Schleicher, Marion Wexler, Leola Heintzelman and Ellen Steier.
