Luella A. “Lol” Bowman, 89, of Lynnport, died March 14, 2016, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown.
She was the widow of Fred P. Bowman who died in 1966.
Born in Lynn Township, she was a daughter of the late Edgar and Maryjane (Hollenbach) Hamm.
She was a packer for the former LMK and Sondra Fashions, Allentown, and later at the former Madtes Poultry, New Tripoli, and Allentown Farmers Market until retiring in 1986.
She was a member of Jacob’s Church, Jacksonville, Lynn Township, the Lynnport Fire Company Auxiliary and the former Northwestern Ambulance Corps Auxiliary for more than 30 years.
Her survivors include her loving daughters Barbara A. Rehrig, wife of Ed Snyder of Orefield, Marcia L., wife of David Miller, and Monica J., wife of Angel Rodriguez, all of New Tripoli; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
She was the last survivor of a family of 12 children.
Her funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on March 17, in the Robert S. Nester Funeral Home, 8405 Kings Highway, New Tripoli, with calling hour 10-11 a.m. Thursday.
The Rev. Scott L. Shay will officiate.
Interment will take place in West Penn Evangelical Cemetery, Andreas.
