Melanie Perez, of Allentown, a student at Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Metropolitan, Teaneck, N.J., was inducted into the college’s Phi Zeta Kappa honor society for the fall 2015 semester.
Eligibility for membership in the University’s junior honor society is established by completing at least the first 60 credits toward an undergraduate degree.
Of these, 44 must have been earned at Fairleigh Dickinson and a cumulative grade point ratio of 3.20 must have been maintained for all of them.
Boston U.
Sarah M. Gardner, Melissa J. Holihan, Rebecca A. Matta, Jessica R. Pondish and Anthony P. Solt, all of Allentown, were named to the dean’s list for the fall 2015 semester at Boston University, Boston, Mass.
Each school and college at Boston University has their own criterion for the dean’s list, but students generally must attain a 3.5 grade point average (on a 4.0 scale), or be in the top 30 percent of their class, as well as a full course load as a full time student.

Leslie Kerchner, of Allentown received a Master’s of Music in music education degree during graduation ceremonies in January from Boston University, Boston, Mass.
Pratt
Taylor Miller, of Allentown, a student at the prestigious Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, N.Y., was among more than 1,000 students who made the president’s list in the fall 2015 semester.
Albright
Brittany Prophet of Allentown graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in organizational behavior/applied psychology during the commencement ceremony Dec. 19, 2015, at Albright College, Reading.
Clark Univ.
Donovan A. Snyder of Orefield has been named to first honors on the dean’s list for academic achievement during the fall 2015 semester at Clark University, Worcester, Mass.
To be eligible for first honors, students must have a grade point average of 3.8 or higher, of a maximum of 4.3 (all A+s).
Mansfield
Claire Bachman of Germansville was recently named to the president’s list of distinguished undergraduate scholars for her academic performance at Mansfield University of Pennsylvania, Mansfield.
She was recognized for achieving a perfect 4.0 grade point average during her first semester at the university.
Bachman is a 2015 graduate of Northwestern Lehigh High School, New Tripoli.
She is the daughter of Justine and Steve Bachman.
Ithaca
Jordan Cowell, of Kutztown, a culture and communication major, was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2015 semester in Ithaca College’s School of Humanities and Sciences.
