State Police Troop M Fogelsville say Tailan Swayze, 32, of Kintersville, was stopped on Feb. 20 for allegedly speeding on I-78, South Whitehall Township.
Police allege Swayze was under the influence of marijuana and in possession of a small amount.
Swayze was arrested for driving under the influence and possession of marijuana.
State Police Troop M Bethlehem say Tamara L. Person, 35, of Hatfield was driving a 2015 Ford Edge, when it struck a utility pole 9:18 p.m. Feb. 24 at 6247 Route 309, North Whitehall Township.
According to police, Person was driving the SUV southbound on Route 309 when it traveled over standing water in the roadway, causing it to cross into the northbound lane.
It then continued to travel in a southeast direction, striking the utility pole with its front bumper portion, just east of the roadway.
The SUV then came to a final rest at the point of impact, police say.
Neither Person nor her passenger Christina T. Kehs, 40, of Quakertown, who were wearing their seat belts, were injured.
The SUV sustained disabling damage to its front bumper.
Person was issued a warning on the scene for driving at an unsafe speed.
Trooper Juan Barrios, Northern Valley Ambulance Emergency Service, Schnecksville Fire Department and Ironton Towing assisted at the scene.
