Shirley L. (Reifinger) Findlay, 81, of Alburtis, died peacefully Feb. 24, 2016, in her residence. She was the wife of the late Eugene D. Findlay who died July 5, 2015. Prior to his passing, they shared 59 years of marriage. Born in Topton, she was a daughter of the late Lloyd W.H. and Lois J. (Fisher) Reifinger.

She was a member of Church of the Good Shepherd U.C.C., Alburtis.

She was a graduate of Kutztown Area High School.

She worked for several years as a secretary for Caloric Corporation, at its former Topton plant.

She is survived by children, Scott and his wife Mayra N. (Mejia), of Mertztown, Erin and her husband Jeffrey L. Rishel, of York, Thomas L. and his wife Amy C. (Snyder), of Alburtis, Susan G. and her husband Gary W. Hartman, of Kutztown, Julie A., of Allentown; nine grandchildren, Brett, Troy, Meghan, Kurt, Erik, Jessica, Daniel, Patrick and Kyle; two sisters, Sandra L. widow of Dale A. Pensinger, of Mertztown and Barbara A. Kauffman, of Ruther Glen, Va.; brother, Reynold C. Reifinger and his wife June (Kemp), of Allentown.
