Shirley A. (Hartman) Cressman, 81, of Allentown, died March 1, 2016, in Phoebe Home, Allentown.

She was the wife of the late Edwin J. Cressman.

Born Jan. 8, 1935, in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Lillian I. (Hartman) Sechler.

She was a presser and assembler at the former Greif Company.

Prior to that, she was a packer at the former Allentown Record Company and Allen Laundry.

She was a member of Emmanuel United Church of Christ, Allentown, and was a volunteer at Phoebe Home since 2001.

Her survivors include sons Edwin J. and his wife, Patty, of Palmerton, Randall S. and his wife, Carol, of Vancouver, Wash., Ritchie A. of Nesquehoning, William C. and his companion, Robin Cook, of Palmerton; brother Clayton Sechler and his wife, Carol, of Allentown; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a sister, Doris Ziegler.
