Michael C. Nesfeder, 65, of Schnecksville, died peacefully on March 4, 2016, surrounded by his loving family.

He and his wife Patricia A. (Cerula) Nesfeder shared 31 years of marriage.

Born July 7, 1950, in Allentown, he was the son of the late John and Ludmilla (Von Goldman) Nesfeder.

A graduate of Kutztown University with a Bachelor of Science degree in political science, he was employed in banking, finance and real estate before retiring in 2013.

He was an avid skier, loved gardening and spending time with his German Shepherds, Jazz and Jake.

Forever remembered as a devoted husband and caring father, his family was the most important aspect of his life.

He was a member of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Whitehall.

In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by a son, Dr. Jonathan M. Nesfeder and his wife, Dr. Carolina P. Vasquez, of Hamburg; daughter Dr. Jennifer A. Nesfeder of Philadelphia; brother David Nesfeder and his wife, Patricia, of Atlanta, Ga.; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by siblings Robert and Madelyn.
