Scrabble night will be held 5-7 p.m. March 28. Stop in to challenge our experts and have some fun!

Our Guess the Number of Jelly Beans contest continues through the end of March. The winner will be announced March 31 and will receive a Barnes & Noble gift card.

As a reminder, storytimes with Miss Jo are held 11 a.m. Thursdays: March 10, 17 and 24. All ages are welcome, and no preregistration is necessary.

Adult coloring sessions are held noon-3 p.m. Saturdays. It’s the latest fad that is sweeping the country and is a great way to reduce your stress level!

Our annual spring book/bake sale will be held in April. Our preview night is 4-7 p.m. April 7. The sale will continue 11 a.m.-4 p.m. April 8 and 9.

For a per-person admission fee, you will get first pick of our selection April 7.

At 4 p.m. April 9, winners will be chosen for several raffle prizes. Winners of the March 50/50 drawing also will be announced at this time. These tickets are on sale now.

Also, we are currently accepting donations for the sale. All donations are tax deductible, and we send out thank you notes as a receipt. We can no longer accept VHS tapes, encyclopedias or textbooks.

Our summer reading program will begin in June. Any teenagers who would like to join our volunteers group should stop in the library for an application.

It will be a great way to encourage younger children to read!
