Virginia “Ginny” F. Schatz, 75, of Bethlehem, died Feb. 23, 2016, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill. She was the wife of the late Samuel G. Schatz. Born in York, she was a daughter of the late Anthony P. and Barbara V. (Corrigan) Alfano.

She was a Kutztown University graduate.

She taught art for the Bethlehem School District. She worked at Sam and Sandy’s Stained Glass.

She is survived by two stepsons, Samuel P. Schatz and John Carey; a stepdaughter, Amy Schatz; a brother, Charles; four sisters Mary Alfano-Brown, Cecelia Bodani, Kathleen Luedloff and Barbara Korczynski; nieces; and nephews.
