BETHLEHEM LEPOCO dinner set for March 12

Lehigh-Pocono Committee of Concern-LEPOCO Peace Center’s 50th anniversary program and dinner will be held at 6:15 p.m. on March 12 at Wesley United Methodist Church, 2540 Center St. The event will feature two displays about local peace and justice, an art raffle, the election of LEPOCO’s steering committee members, and music by the LEPOCO Peace Singers.

The speaker will be Ann Wright, “Peace Conversions: From Lies to Truth; From War to Peace; From Understanding to Action”. She was an officer in the U.S. Army for 30 years and was a U.S. State Department diplomat for 16 years.
