A Philadelphia man was taken into custody for driving under the influence after a traffic stop at Lincoln Avenue at Washington Avenue, Salisbury Township, 12:14 a.m. Feb. 13. Charges were filed through District Court 31-1-08.

James Moore, 32, of Coal Township, was charged with harassment and criminal mischief after police responded to an incident on Interstate 78 westbound at Exit 58, Salisbury Township, 11:35 p.m. Feb. 13. According to police, a 35-year-old woman reported she and Moore got into an argument while in her vehicle. The woman pulled to the shoulder of the road and Moore allegedly choked the woman with both hands and damaged her vehicle. Charges were filed in District Court 31-1-08.
