Angel Rodriguez, 24, of Allentown, was charged with retail theft following an incident at Bon-Ton, 3300 Lehigh St., Allentown 3:40 p.m. Feb. 19. Rodriguez allegedly put on a Calvin Klein coat valued at $120 and walked out of the store without paying for it. He was taken to Central Booking for processing.

Police were called to Victoria’s Secret, 3300 Lehigh St., Allentown 8:13 p.m. Feb. 20 after employees received a call from an unknown actor who said he was going to blow up the mall.

A resident in the 3000 block of Linden Court reported 2:20 p.m. Feb. 20 an unknown actor went through an unlocked vehicle and removed a hunting knife valued at $30.

An iPad was removed from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 900 block of Ott Street and reported 11:43 a.m. Feb. 25. The iPad was valued at $450.

A resident in the 2900 block of Fairfield Drive reported 1:15 p.m. Feb. 20 leaving a purse in an unlocked vehicle. The purse was removed by an unknown actor. The purse was later recovered in the bushes with $40 cash removed. Later, the actor used the garage door opener and removed an orange Trek mountain bike valued at $300. On Feb. 22, the bike was recovered in Lower Macungie, left in someone’s yard.

Representatives from the Salisbury Youth Association reported 11 a.m. Feb. 24 the theft of 20 posts removed from the ball field at Devonshire Park, 2815 Bevin Dr. They were removed sometime after November 2015 and were valued at $400. The caps on the posts were also removed valued at $400. The total loss is $800.

An unknown actor went through an unlocked vehicle parked in the 900 block of South Hayes Street. Police were informed 7:48 a.m. Feb. 25.
