Robert “Bobby” D. Fick, 79, of Emmaus, died peacefully Feb. 29, 2016. He was the husband of the late Ola Fick, who died November 2015. They were married 55 years. He was the son of the late Walter and Mamie (Crossley) Fick, of Emmaus.
He served his country as a proud member of the U.S. Marine Corps.
He was employed as a plant manager for Owens-Corning, Emmaus, until his retirement in 1980.
He had a great love of sports and coached football and baseball for many years in the Emmaus Youth Association. When his coaching days ended, he remained an enthusiastic and vocal fan.
He was a long time member of the CWV, VFW, the American Legion, the Owls and the Mercantile Club.
He is survived by sons, Russel and his wife Patti, of Allentown, R. Scott and Teresa Stricker, Randy and his wife Stephanie, Allen and his wife Lisa, and Anthony, all of Emmaus; grandchildren, Joshua and his wife Kerri, Andrew, Brittney, Caleb, Bethanee and her husband Travis Houser, Nathaniel, Patrick, Micah, Jacob, Ryan and Sean; seven great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sisters, Susan Kemeter, Sarah Lorah and Margaret Dunstan, brothers, Walter and Wilbert and great-granddaughter, Kaylynn Quiles.

Services will be 11 a.m. March 5 at the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 225 Elm St., Emmaus. Calling hours are 9:30 to 11 a.m. March 5 in the funeral home.
