Janet F. Eck, 81, of Allentown, formerly of Coplay, died Feb. 27, 2016, in the Inpatient Hospice Unit of Lehigh Valley Hospital.
She was the wife of the late Forrest F. Eck.
Born in Alburtis, she was the daughter of the late Charles A. and Stella L. (Henninger) Conrad.
Before retiring, she worked as a head cook for the Parkland School District at Springhouse Middle School.
A member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Laurys Station, she was also a member of the Young at Heart Senior Group and enjoyed gardening, bowling and cooking and baking for her family.
Her survivors include daughters Julia K. and her husband, Roger A. Gogle Jr., of Coplay, Roxanne L. and her husband, David Grube, of Schneckville, Sandra R. and her husband, Kenneth S. Ball, of Blacksburg, Va.; brother Ronald Conrad; sister Lillian Andrews; grandchildren Timothy, Candice, Robert, Amanda, Meghan, Steven, Alexander, Owen, Aidan and Colin; great-grandchildren Connor and Mackenzie; and daughter-in-law Nancy of Coplay.
She was predeceased by a son Garry D., daughter Michelle Lynn, three brothers and one sister.
