Gloria A. Smith, 88, of Orefield, died on Feb. 29, 2016, in At Home At Parkland, Schnecksville.

She was the wife of the late Lewis R.B. Smith.

Born Aug. 21, 1927, in Egypt, Whitehall Township, she was the daughter of the late Percival Hein and Bessie A. (Crouthamel) Hein Hendricks.

A garment packer at the former Allison Mfg. Co., Allentown, for 35 years, she retired in 1982.

She was a member of Jordan United Church of Christ, South Whitehall, and the Tri-Clover Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.

Her survivors include a brother John R. Hendricks of Tennessee; niece Sylvia A. Litzenberger of New Tripoli; and nephew Timothy A. Litzenberger of Quakertown.

She was predeceased by a daughter Patricia L. Smith.

Her funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. March 5, in Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville, with the Rev. Dr. David Charles Smith and the Rev. F. Russell Pinkerton officiating.

Family and friends may pay their respects 9:30-10:30 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home.

Interment will follow the service at Jordan UCC. Cemetery, South Whitehall.
