St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church, 681 Fullerton Ave., will continue its yearlong jubilee celebration in honor of 75 years as a parish with a parish mission March 12-16.

Guiding the parish through the mission will be guest speaker Father Angelus Shaughnessy, Order of Friars Capuchin, who is renowned for his publications and library of audio and video tapes that inspire, instruct and perpetuate the Catholic faith.

For seven years, Shaughnessy was stationed at Eternal World Television Network EWTN in Birmingham, Ala. As an apostolate, he was able to preach to 128 million households throughout the world.

Presently, he serves as the national executive director of Archconfraternity of Christian Mothers.

He will kick off his stay at St. Elizabeth’s by giving the Homily at all weekend Masses, March 12 and 13, and provide daily Mass 9 a.m. Monday through Wednesday. Starting Sunday evening, he will lead a session 7 p.m. with a different topic each night.

Additionally, St. Elizabeth’s will hold its next all-you-can-eat breakfast 8:30-11:30 a.m. March 13 in the parish social hall.
