Thomas “Eddie” E. Shaffer, 66, of Bethlehem, died Feb. 17, 2016, in Philadelphia. Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was a son of the late Thomas and Dorothy Shaffer. He was the husband of Diane (Williams) Shaffer for 44 years.

He was a 1967 graduate of Liberty High School.

He worked for Strahman Valve, Inc., and for the former Bethlehem Steel Company.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Shawn; a daughter, Kimberly; a sister, Mary and Gerard Bobal; three grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Reese and Ayden; nieces; and nephews.
