Vera Meyers Becker, 92, of Bethlehem, died Feb. 19, 2016, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg Campus, Bethlehem.

She was the wife of Paul E. Becker and the late Lloyd Meyers.

Born Dec. 29, 1923, in North Wales, she was the daughter of the late Thomas S. Sr. and Jenny (Gilmer) Schaffer.

She was a teller at Continental Bank, Plymouth Meeting, several years before retiring.

Prior to that, she was a seamstress at the former Poole and Sons, Lansdale.

She was a longtime member of the Lansdale United Methodist Church.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Ronald Meyers and his wife, Karen, of Hatfield; stepson Russell D. Becker and his wife, Rebekah, of Malvern; stepdaughter Paula J. Infanti of Allentown; brother Robert Schaffer and his wife, Bonnie, of Hatfield; grandchildren Jeffrey Meyers and his wife, Lori, Gregory Meyers and his wife, Debra, Danny Meyers and his wife, Lori, Stacie Maile and her husband, Vincent, Glenn Meyers, Robert Becker, Jean Infanti; great-grandchildren Victoria “Tori” Meyers, Jacob Meyers, Luke Meyers, Megan Meyers, Joshua Meyers, Francesca Maile, Christopher Maile, Drew Meyers; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a son, Larry B. Meyers and 12 siblings.
