A 13-year-old Breinigsville boy was injured when the 2015 Apollo Choppers II 007 motorcycle he was driving was struck by a 1999 Toyota Corolla driven by a 16-year-old Breinigsville girl 3:55 p.m. Feb. 20 on Schaefer Run Road, Upper Macungie Township.

According to police, the 13-year-old apparently failed to yield the right-of-way at the intersection of Schaefer Run Road and Silo Hill Lane.

Police say the teen, who was wearing a helmet, was transported by ambulance to Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

Neither the 16-year-old nor her passenger, Barbara A. Scheler, 49, of Breinigsville, who were wearing their seat belts, were injured, police say.
