State police responded to a motor vehicle accident Feb. 2 on Catasauqua Road, at its intersection with Valley Plaza and Bethlehem Diner in Hanover Township, Lehigh County.

According to the report, two drivers were involved in the crash, which occurred at 3:28 p.m. The driver of a 1997 Nissan Pathfinder, Christopher R. Freitas, 51, of Bethlehem, hit the rear fender of a 2014 Chrysler Town and Country at a stop light. The driver of the Town and Country, a 39-year-old female, first pulled over along the shoulder of Catasauqua Road, followed by Freitas. However, police said Freitas refused to give his information to the female driver and fled the scene west on Catasauqua Road.
