Roger L. Hoffman, 64, of Fogelsville, died Feb. 18, 2016, after a long struggle with dementia.

He and his wife Barbara (Yadush) were married Sept. 9, 1978.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Clinton and Fern (Kistler) Hoffman.

He graduated from the former Lehigh County Community College, now Lehigh Carbon Community College, and was a maintenance mechanic at Cotter and Company, a True Value warehouse, for nearly 25 years.

He later worked in the maintenance departments of various warehouses in the area.

He honorably served his country as a staff sergeant in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam conflict.

He was a member of St. Peter’s United Church of Christ, Lynnville.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his brother, Larry, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

His brother, Clifton, died in 1958 at age 4.

At his request, there will be no services.
