Mary Phyllis Crilley, 87, of Allentown, died Feb. 13, 2016, in Hope Hospice, Ft. Myers, Fla.

She was the wife of the late Robert M. Crilley.

Born Aug. 3, 1928, in Allentown, and raised in East Mauch Chunk, she was the daughter of the late Reginald L. and Anna (Henry) Bechtel.

A 1949 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing, she was a registered nurse and homemaker.

A member of the Cathedral of St. Catharine of Siena, Allentown, she loved spending time with her grandchildren, was an avid reader and enjoyed working in her garden.

Her survivors include a son, Michael P. Crilley and his wife, Geri M. Duke of Allentown; daughter Kathleen A. Stark and her husband, Steve, of Fort Myers; grandchildren Matthew Crilley, and Jennifer and Kimberly Stark.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Feb. 26, 2016 in the Cathedral of St. Catharine of Siena, 1825 Turner St., Allentown.

There will be no calling hours.

Interment will follow the service at St. Joseph’s Church Cemetery, Jim Thorpe.
