Disorderly conduct Scam Theft from vehicle Assault Public drunkenness Alarms

Sabwa Sula, 40, of Salisbury Township, was charged with harassment, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness following an alleged incident in the 700 block of Mortimer Street 8:46 p.m. Feb. 12. He received summary citations; however, due to an outstanding warrant from Carbon County, he was taken to Central Booking for processing.

A resident in the 1600 block of Cardinal Drive reported receiving a call from the Internal Revenue Service 9:16 a.m. Feb. 13. The resident was told they would be going to jail if they did not pay taxes.

A resident in the 1600 block of Rader Avenue reported receiving a call from the Internal Revenue Service 9:34 a.m. Feb. 13. The resident was told they would be going to jail if they did not pay taxes.

A resident in the 1400 block of Brook Avenue reported receiving a call from the Internal Revenue Service 10:17 a.m. Feb. 13. The resident was told they would be going to jail if they did not pay taxes.

A resident in the 1500 block of Graham Avenue reported receiving a call from the Internal Revenue Service 12:25 p.m. Feb. 15. The resident was told they would be going to jail if they did not pay taxes.

An unknown actor went through a vehicle parked in the 2900 block of Fairfield Drive. The incident was reported 4:42 p.m. Feb. 14. A checkbook is missing from the vehicle.

Arthur Guzman, 28, of Salisbury Township, was charged with aggrevated assault, reckless endangerment, simple assault and harassment following an incident in the 2200 block of Honeysuckle Road 9:21 a.m. Feb. 15. Guzman allegedly held the victim captive for two days and allegedly assaulted the victim. The victim was taken to the hospital for medical treatment.

Christopher Page, 24, of Allentown, was charged with public drunkenness following an alleged incident at the South Mall, 3300 Lehigh St. Page received a summary citation.
