Jacob ‘Jack’ Stein , owned iron and metal company

Jacob “Jack” Stein, 82, formerly of Forks Township, died Feb. 8, 2016, in the Sunrise Hospital of Las Vegas, Nev. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Benjamin Lewis and Helen (Sobel) Stein. He was the husband of the late Mary (Novak) Stein.

He was a graduate of Liberty HS, where he played football.

He was the owner and president of the Easton Iron and Metal Company Inc.

He was a member of the Congregation of B’nai Abraham Synagogue, Easton.

He is survived by two sons, David and his wife Jian, and Jeffrey; a daughter, Willa; four sisters, Gladys Stein, Mitzi Dubin, Pearl Stein and Shirley Stein; a step-son, Kenneth Moyer; a step-daughter, Jessica Moyer; and 12 grandchildren, Max, Julian and Angeline Stein, Zunhao Tang, Aidan and Vienne Asmus, Josh Bush, Lacey, Sarah, Rachel, Derek and Zackary Moyer.
