State Police Troop M Bethlehem say Angeline M. Sorrentino, 40, of Whitehall, was driving a 2006 Chevrolet Malibu when it struck a snow-covered berm 10:50 a.m. Feb. 10 on Willow Street, North Whitehall.
According to police, Sorrentino was southbound on Willow Street, just north of Brige Street, negotiating a left curve when she apparently failed to negotiate the curve and her car traveled off the right side of the road, striking the berm.
After hitting the berm, the car slid into a traffic control sign on the right side of the road before coming to a final rest facing east on the right shoulder, police say.
Sorrentino, who was wearing her seat belt, was uninjured.
Police say she was charged with a traffic violation.
