Pennsylvania State Police-Bethlehem is seeking information on a crash that took place at approximately 9:10 a.m. Feb. 10.

The crash occurred on Route 22 near the Route 145 interchange in Whitehall Township. According to the report, the driver of a Mini Cooper lost control of his vehicle for an unknown reason and struck the concrete median. The vehicle traveled approximately 83 feet after impact and came to a final rest in the left lane of Route 22 East.

The front end of the vehicle sustained light damage. Airbags were not deployed, and seatbelt use is unknown, police said.

Whitehall Fire Department and Cetronia Ambulance Corps assisted at the scene.

The driver, 69-year-old David Scotney Cameron of Chalfont, Bucks County, was transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg, where he died later that morning. Lehigh County Deputy Coroner Richard J. Kroon ruled the cause of death as cardiac arrest.
