To the Editor:

Our neighbors had a fire in their home Feb. 6 at 206 Howertown Road. My house is next door, at 204 Howertown Road.

My husband, Bob Fritchey, our two sons, Craig and Nickolas, and I are so thankful for the quick response of the Catasauqua Fire Department and the kindness of all of the firefighters and fire police. We are also grateful that the North Catasauqua Fire Department was on call in case the fire was worse than it was.

We did not have any damage, and I truly believe it is because of the dedication and quick response of those gentlemen.

A special thank you goes to all of them and to Fire Chief Richard Hertzog for keeping the fire under control and keeping my family safe. We will be forever grateful.
