Greg C. Ziegler, 49, of Slatington, died Feb. 11, 2016, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg Campus, Bethlehem.

Born July 15, 1966 in Allentown, he was the son of George Ziegler of Walnutport and the late Loretta (Kromer) Ziegler who died in March 2011.

He was a forklift operator for Ward Trucking Corp. Easton, for the past 16 years.

He was a member of the men’s bowling league Slatington, and of the mixed league at the former Rose Bowl, Allentown.

He enjoyed fishing and annual trips to New York.

He was an avid Northern Lehigh football fan supporting his son Chris.

In addition to his father, he is survived by sons Tyler J. Mertz of Whitehall and Christopher J. Ziegler of Walnutport; companion Donna L. Stryker of Slatington; brothers Keith D. Ziegler and wife, Joyce, of Allentown, and Jody M. Ziegler and wife, Karen, of Slatington; sisters Debra A., wife of Barry Fenner of Walnutport, and Terri D., wife of Gregory Strohl of Palmerton; nieces and nephews.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
