Commitment to Family & Community, commonly known as CFC, will hold its monthly all-you-can-eat breakfast 8 a.m.-noon Feb. 21 at its location on Cherry Street, the same building that houses the borough fire department.
CFC breakfasts, which draw huge crowds, are the longest-running events in the community, going back decades when CFC was Coplay Fire Company.

The spring session for classes starts March 1 at the Whitehall High School pool. There is a $55 fee for residents and a $65 fee for nonresidents.

The Feb. 27 Elvis and Roy Orbison tribute show is sold out, according to American Club of Coplay.

Last week, Coplay made a Channel 6 Philadelphia weather forecast. Residents spoke of seeing the borough’s name, along with other communities much larger than the borough, in large letters when a map detailing the temperature and weather was displayed.

With blustery winter still in the region for several more weeks, some parents have been driving their children to school. Parents also have their sons and daughters remain in cars until the bus arrives.
Those boarding the school bus at the borough hall are kept warm by waiting inside the hall until the school bus arrives.
Whitehall-Coplay School District says school buses keep prompt schedules, mindful of students waiting outside.
