The Lehigh Valley Pet Expo attracted many families with their children and pets, mostly dogs and cats on leashes.
Many of the pet lovers were newcomers to the annual exposition Jan. 29-31 in the Agri-Plex at the Allentown Fairgrounds.
The expo was sponsored by Family Pet Shows.
A petting zoo, pony rides, pet-related vendors, demonstration arena, animal parade with owners, cat show and competition, rescue association booths and much more were there for all to enjoy.
Kim Colrus of Breiningsville visited the Lehigh Valley Pet Expo for her first time. “I like the animals,” said Colrus, who purchased four bowls of animal food at the petting zoo. She especially liked the white alpaca.
