Barry F. Karp, 70, of Philadelphia, formerly of Allentown, died Feb. 13, 2016, in Aria Health, Philadelphia.

Born April 22, 1945 in Brooklyn, Kings County, N.Y., he was the son of the late Max and Celia (Slobodsky) Karp.

He was a self-employed sales representative in the precious metals industry for many years in the Tri-State area.

His survivors include children, Tami Dotterer and her husband, Neal, of Coplay, Marlo Long and her husband, Aaron, of Macungie, Jeff Karp and his wife, Nicole, of Minnesota, Marisa Bartholomew and her husband, Mark, of Catasauqua; sister Susan Haas of Florida; nine grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

He was predeceased by a sister Carole Aflalo.

His memorial service will be 11 a.m. Feb. 23, in Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville, with the Rev. Dr. David Charles Smith officiating.

Family and friends may pay their respects 10-11 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
