Mary E. Dieterly, 85, of Bethlehem, died Feb. 7, 2016. Born in Hellertown, she was the daughter of the late William F. and Helen R. (Bauder) Thomas. She was the wife of the late William S. Dieterly.

She was a 1947 graduate of Hellertown High School.

She was a member of College Hill Moravian Church, Bethlehem.

She is survived by five children, Linda S. of Bethlehem, Joanne K. Dieterly of Collegeville, David T. and his wife Lois of Wyomissing, Stanley M. and his fiancé Julie Kalnas of Reading and Mary Lou Hughes of Bunnell, Fla.; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandson.

She was predeceased by three siblings, Samuel Thomas, Ruth Alberelli and Grace Benzak.
