Edward “Eddie” M. Bolcar Jr. 58, of Bethlehem Township, died on Feb.11, 2016, in his home. Born in Fountain Hill, he was a son of Edward Sr. and Irene (Kereczman) Bolcar. He was the husband of Lynn (Weaver) Bolcar for 28 years.
He was a 1975 graduate of Liberty High School and Bethlehem Area Vocational Technical School.
He was a 30 year employee of Moravian College, where he worked in the carpentry department, until 2014.
He bowled in many leagues and was a coach for the junior bowlers at Town and Country Lanes from 1996-2009. He was an oil painter and was known as Ed’s Art and Frames.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by a daughter, Alexandra Nicole; a sister, Veronica and her husband Paul Pavelko; mother-in-law, Marie Blair; a nephew, Jeffrey Stofanak; and a niece, Jennifer Fitzko.
Contributions may be made to the Jack and Eloise Karp Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 593, Allentown, PA 18105, to benefit junior bowling at Town and Country Lanes.
