Edward James Hartigan, 64, of Bethlehem, died Feb.12, 2016 at St. Luke’s Hospice House. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late James and Irma (Psau) Hartigan of Bethlehem. He was the husband of Kathleen (Csrenko) Hartigan for 28 years.

He was a social studies teacher at the Strayer Middle School, Quakertown.

He was a member of Ss. Simon & Jude Catholic Church, Bethlehem, where he was a lector.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a brother, Lawrence Hartigan of Bethlehem; two sisters, Patricia Morganelli of Northampton and Loretta Hartigan of Bethlehem; three nieces, one nephew; and one great-niece.
