Orrin H. Fink

Orrin H. Fink, 86, formerly of Heidelberg Township, died Feb. 5, 2016, in Fellowship Manor, Whitehall.

He was the husband of the late Ramona L. (DeLong) Fink.

Born Oct. 5, 1929, in Heidelberg Township, he was the son of late Henry A. and Vera R. (Hamm) Fink.

He was a co-owner and lifelong farmer of Heidel Hollow Farm, Heidelberg Township, before retiring.

Prior to that, he was employed at the Arthur J. Henry Lumber Co., Neffs, the former Lehigh Valley Dairy, Allentown, and the former Slatington Lamp Factory.

Active in the life of his church and community, he was a member of the United Church of Christ congregation of Heidelberg Union Church, Heidelberg Township.

He formerly served as treasurer and school board member of the Northwestern Lehigh School District.

He was a member of the Lehigh County Farmer’s Association, and Slatington Lodge 440, F.&A.M.

He was the recipient of the Outstanding Young Farmers Award presented to him from the Lehigh County Chamber of Commerce.

His survivors include children, David O. and his wife, Sonia, of Germansville, Renee R. Addison and her husband, David, of Germansville, Gregory A. and his wife, Pamela, of Slatington, Teresa C. of Germansville; grandchildren Travis D. and Michael A. Fink, Jennifer S. Bond, and Victoria R. Regan; and great-grandchildren Jasmine and Jillian Bond, Kiersten, Kaitlin, Kamryn, Emmalyn and Amelia Fink, Grayson Regan.

He was predeceased by a sister, Carolyn H. Fink.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Feb. 13, in Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville, with the Rev. Kevin E. Fruchtl officiating.

Family and friends may pay their respects 9-10:30 am. Saturday in the funeral home.

Interment will follow the service at Heidelberg Union Cemetery, Heidelberg Township.
