Derek Shackleton died Jan. 24, 2016. He was the husband of Norma D. (Dendler) Shackleton. They were married 29 years. Born in Yorkshire, England, he came to the United States when he was three years old. He resided in Wilson Borough and was a graduate of Wilson Borough High School.
He was a U.S. Air Force veteran.
He was employed as a plant manager by Proctor and Gamble, Winchester, Va., before retiring.
He is survived by his wife; son, Mitchell D. and his wife, Beverly Hosler, of New Tripoli; daughter, Kathy and her husband Steve Stone, of Aguanga, Calif., son, Steve; great-grandson, Selden; daughter-in-law, Mary Lou and her husband, Masis Mandani, of Houston, Texas; two grandsons, Derek and his wife Faeren, of San Diego, Calif.; Stephen and his wife Jennifer and a great-grandson, James, of San Diego, Calif.
Arrangements were made by the Boyko Funeral Home, Macungie.
