Clare Lando Moyer, 91, of Macungie, died Jan. 30, 2016, in Franklin, Tenn. He was the husband of Gertrude (Erney) Moyer. They were married 61 years. He was the son of the late Clarence Franklin and Flossie (Emerich) Moyer.

He was a decorated veteran of the U.S. Army serving during World War II and receiving the Good Conduct Medal, Meritorious Unit Award, Philippines Liberation Medal with one Bronze Star, American Campaign Medal, Asiatic Pacific Campaign Medal with three Bronze Stars and the World War II Victory Medal.

He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Macungie.

He is survived by his wife; daughter, Jan and her husband Jim Runnels; grandchildren, Jameson Runnels and his wife Leonela and Jacey Runnels.
