Terry Gillispie

Terry W. Gillispie, 55, of Bethlehem, died Jan. 27, 2016. Born in Rahway, N.J., he was a son of Gerry W. and Sally (McKnight) Gillispie of Bethlehem.

He was a 1978 Freedom HS graduate where he was graduation speaker and a member of Freedom Les Chanteurs. At The College of Wooster, Ohio, he sang in the chorus; spent a semester in Edinburgh, Scotland; and earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology with honors with a minor in philosophy.

He was a recovery coach at the Penn Foundation, Sellersville, for the past 10 years.

He was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Bethlehem.

He acted in theater productions.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Thomas J. and his wife Pam of Acton, Mass.; a sister, Gwen L. Gillispie of St. Petersburg, Fla.; a niece, Elizabeth L. and her husband Kenny Garreau; two nephews, T.J. Gillispie and Eduardo D. Cintron; an aunt, Adele Gillispie Juzi, and her children, Chris, Glenn and Eric.

He was predeceased by Helen Gillispie Harral and Minnie and James McKnight.
