Helen Foppert Bollinger

Helen Foppert Bollinger, 83, of Bethlehem, died Jan. 28, 2016. She was the wife of the late Richard “Burr” N. Bollinger for 57 years.

She was born in Philadelphia.

She was a 1955 graduate of Duke University.

She was a member of the Duquesne Club and Fox Chapel Country Club, Pittsburgh; and the Saucon Valley Country Club.

She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Bethlehem.

She earned the rank of Life Master from The American Contract Bridge League. She was admitted to the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the National Society of the Colonial Dames of America. She was named a Paul Harris Fellow by Rotary International for her efforts to further better understanding and friendly relations among the peoples of the world.

She is survived by three sons, David of Woodstock, Vt., Bruce of Victor, Idaho and Steve of Bethlehem; and eight grandchildren.
