The Lehigh Valley Zoo, 5150 Game Preserve Road, Schnecksville, will have a private family Valentine’s weekend fundraiser 11 a.m.-3 p.m. on Feb. 13 and 14 to help bring giraffes to the zoo.

During each day, admission to the zoo will be exclusive to those attending the event.

Tickets include: up-close animal encounters, craft stations for kids, wine tasting by Boos-Rock Winery, boxed lunch, beverages and treats and snacks.

Participants will also have an opportunity to adopt a giraffe and participate in a tricky tray raffle.

Tickets are only valid for this special fundraiser and are non-refundable and non-transferable between days.

All proceeds from this event will go to the 2016 Capital Campaign to support bringing giraffes to the zoo.

Morgenland Church, 3120 Weidasville Road, Orefield, will have an Ash Wednesday Lent service 7:30-8:30 p.m. Feb. 10.

The church will also have a Lent service 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Feb. 17.

The first Sunday of each month will be Food Pantry Sunday and food donations will be accepted 9-10 a.m. Feb. 7.

Donations will benefit families in the Northwestern Lehigh School District.
