Northampton: AARP plans Feb. 10 meeting
Northampton AARP Chapter 3915 will meet Feb. 10 at Northampton Banquet & Events Center, 1601 Laubach Ave. Doors open noon. Entertainment will be provided. Those planning to attend are asked to bring a baked good.
If Northampton schools are closed, there will be no meeting.

The Northampton K-Kids baseball team will hold a winter social fundraiser 5 p.m. Feb. 13 at Hammerhead Lounge, 326 Main St.
The cost of a ticket includes a dinner buffet and entertainment by a deejay. There is a cash bar.

Quota Club of Northampton will hold a PJ Whelihan’s Pub fundraiser from 11 a.m. Feb. 25 to 2 a.m. Feb. 26.
Dine in or take out at the Schoenersville Road, Bethlehem, location. Just tell your waiter or bartender you’re supporting the Quota fundraiser.

The Friends of Northampton Area Public Library group is seeking monetary donations for sponsors for its Vera Bradley bingo, to be held April 3. Organizers also are looking for a few items for the Chinese auction section.
If interested, drop off your donation at the library or mail it to Friends of NAPL, Northampton Area Public Library, 1615 Laubach Ave., Northampton, 18067.
There are a few seats left for the library’s bus trip to the Philadelphia Flower Show March 11. This year’s theme is National Parks.

Additionally, North- ampton Area Public Library is currently looking for adult volunteers to monitor the teen lounge, which runs every Monday through Thursday after school, 2:30-5 p.m.

Holy Trinity Nursery School, 1235 Main St., is currently registering children for the 2016-2017 school year.
The 2-year-old playgroup class meets 9:30-11 a.m. Mondays and Wednesdays. Class size is limited to 12 children, who do not need to be toilet trained for the class.
The 3-year-old class meets 9-11 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. Class size is limited to 16 children, who need to be toilet trained for the class.
The 4-year-old class meets 12:15-2:45 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Class size is limited to 16 children, who need to be toilet trained for the class.
Children must turn the appropriate age for the class by Sept. 1, 2016.
There is a registration fee and a monthly tuition cost.

Northampton Banquet & Events Center hosts bingo every Monday night. Doors open 5:30 p.m., and games begin 7 p.m.
The kitchen is open. Proceeds benefit the center.
