Michael L. May, 55, a longtime resident of Allentown, died Jan. 26, 2016, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg, Bethlehem.

Born March 25, 1960, in Buffalo, N.Y., he was the son of the late Wah Pan and Joan (Brace) May.

He had a career as a cook in the restaurant industry.

A faithful blood donor, he also was an organ donor to the Gift of Life Program.

His survivors include siblings Randy Scott May and his wife, Gwen, of Tempe, Ariz., Lisa Azar and her husband, Issam, of New Tripoli, Carolyn May of Allentown; four nephews and one niece.

He was predeceased by a sister, Susan Gabel.

His service will be private.
