To the Editor:

We want to send out a huge thank you to the North Catasauqua road crew!

Unfortunately, we had an unexpected death in our family during the blizzard of 2016, and we could not get out of our driveway. Our alley was blocked with huge snow drifts that our snow blower could not handle. it would have taken too long to shovel, and time was of the essence! We called the nonemergency line and asked if anybody could help us in this situation. By 6 a.m., someone showed up and helped to dig us out.

There are not enough words to express how thankful and appreciative we are for your efforts. This is one of the reasons we choose to live in North Catasauqua because we have found everyone is always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.
