Jeffrey J. Laros, 60, of Alburtis, died January 19, 2016, in Lehigh Valley Health Network, Salisbury Township. Born in Hempstead, N.Y., he was a son of Robert P. and Lorraine E. (Schray) Laros, of Fleetwood.

A graduate of Emmaus High School, he was a crab and oyster fisherman in St. Michael’s, Md., for many years.

He was a member of the South Side Motorcycle Club and an avid outdoorsman.

He was a former member of the Goodwill Fire Co. and was very involved with fundraising and social activities. He conducted “pig roasts” several times a year. He was always willing to lend a helping hand.

He is survived by his parents; brothers, Steven K., of Bethlehem, Michael R. and his wife, Robin, of Lenhartsville; niece, Samantha R. Schroeder; nephew, Mark G. Laros.
