Jeanne E. Flaherty, 86, formerly living at the Atria, Bethlehem, and in East Haven, Conn., died on Jan. 28, 2016, in Moravian Village, Bethlehem.
She was the wife of the late Bernard R. Flaherty.
Born April 17, 1929, in Springfield, Mass., she was the daughter of the late Nedd and Jessie (Garrow) Fisher.
An avid reader, she loved sending and receiving cards.
She was a talented artist and enjoyed making handcrafted note cards, gift tags and bags.
Over the years, she supplied her family and friends with many beautiful woodburned and painted Christmas ornaments.
She was a sales representative for Research Publications, Woodbridge, Conn., for 23 years.
Her survivors include children Michael W. of Lebanon, Conn., Gayle F. Deck and her partner, John D. Trumbull, of New Tripoli, Blaise G. and his wife, Renee, of Parker, Colo., Christopher N. and his wife, Lisa, of Denver, Colo.; and granddaughter Elizabeth J. Deck of Arlington, Mass.
She was predeceased by her daughter-in-law Georgianne Flaherty.
Her service was private.
