Emmanuel L. “Manny” Wisser, 97, of Allentown, died Jan. 30, 2016, at home.
He was the widower of Althea E. (Betz) Wisser.
Born in South Whitehall Township, he was the son of the late Edwin and Leah (Troxell) Wisser.
A carpenter for N.K.I. Builders for 20 years, he retired in 1986.
Prior to that, he worked for Trexler Estates for 22 years.
He enjoyed woodworking in his shop and his talent was enjoyed by both family and friends.
He was a member of the Lutheran congregation of Cedar Church, South Whitehall.
His survivors include daughters Barbara A., wife of David Juchnik, of Schnecksville, Buffy, wife of Dr. John Albright, of Macungie, and Betty J., wife of Roland Stager, of Cincinnati, Ohio; sister Joyce Zemlansky of Northampton; grandchildren Jennifer Linchuk, Jason Albright and Heather Sherlak; great-grandchildren Eric, Adam, Lauren, Samuel, Julia and Frankie; and caregiver Tessa Adams.
He was predeceased by a sister, Mabel Fravel.
His services will be 11 a.m. Feb. 4 at Cedar Church, 3419 Broadway, South Whitehall, with the Rev. Gordon Camp officiating.
Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Interment in the church cemetery.
