Clara M. Breunig, 96, of Macungie, died January 26, 2016, in Lehigh Valley Inpatient Hospice. She was the wife of the late William S. Breunig, Sr. Born in Tylersport, she was the daughter of the late John and Mamie (McNoldy) Hildenbrand.
She was a cook for the East Penn School District and Lower Milford Fire Company for many years, retiring in 1978.
She was a member of Old Zionsville U.C.C. and an active member of their church kitchen, cooking for church dinners for more than 40 years.
She was a member of the Vera Cruz Auxiliary where she was president for four years and she was an avid bowler.
She is survived by sons, William S. Jr. and his wife Sandra, of East Greenville and Donald R. and his wife Judith, of Emmaus; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. She was predeceased by three sisters, one brother and one stepsister.
