Voices of Conscience presents a performance and discussion, 11 a.m. 12:30 p.m. Jan. 31, Lehigh Valley Friends Meeting, 4116 Bath Pike, Bethlehem. The event is free and open to the public.

Basement Poetry performs poems from “Identify,” which focuses on themes of racial identity and discrimination.

Grace Adele Hochella, accompanied by Ken Purcell, will share a segment from her one-person play, “Spirituals, Stories and Songs,” an historical journey through the African-American experience by way of slave narratives, personal accounts, stories and music.

A facilitated discussion follows.
