Verna K. Fritzinger, 96, of Germansville, died Jan. 26, 2016, in Phoebe Home, Allentown.

She was the wife of the late Wilmer J.B. Fritzinger.

Born Aug. 17, 1919, in Lowhill Township, she was the daughter of the late Charles P. and Katie M.M. (Kressley) Fries.

She was a sewing machine operator at the former Robbi-Sue Sportswear, Slatington, for 24 years before retiring in 1981.

She was a member of the United Church of Christ congregation of Heidelberg Union Church, Heidelberg Township.

She will forever be remembered as a devoted wife, caring mother and loving grandmother.

Her survivors include sons, Glenn W. and his wife, Lynne, of Hampton, Va., Terry L. of Germansville; three grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by four brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services will be 10:30 am. Feb. 1, 2016, in Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville, with the Rev. Kevin E. Fruchtl officiating.

Family and friends may pay their respects 9:30-10:30 a.m. Monday in the funeral home.

Interment will follow the service at Heidelberg Union Cemetery, Slatington.
